I was first drawn to C2Life through my partner & I going through their lifestyle medicine program together. My family’s health history was not stellar, & after looking at my past bloodwork, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try something different. Well, it didn't hurt, in fact, it changed my life in many ways! Not only in providing education on better eating habits but also methods on how to improve my quality of life in many different ways. I’m a firm believer in each one, reach one, teach one, & I feel that working with this organization & its mission accomplishes that.

Brett Wells

After a 30-year international commercial operations career in diagnostics, Brett pivoted in 2022 to focus his efforts solely on his passion of helping people, and their communities, reach their true health potential.  Brett is certified in human behavior design and leads our efforts at THRIVE to integrate Lifestyle Medicine principles into the strategies that allow our clients to make lasting changes in their lives.  He lives in Waynesville, NC with his wife Paige and their Irish Red & White Setters.  Brett and Paige have three children - Zac, Graham, and Maison.

Laurie Robinson

Laurie has practiced Family Medicine for 23 years at Burke Primary Care. After participating in the FIM program, she became certified in Lifestyle Medicine, shifting her focus to helping patients embrace whole food, plant-based nutrition and other pillars of lifestyle medicine. Laurie recently started a separate Lifestyle Medicine practice and is furthering her expertise in women's health through certification with the Menopause Society. She enjoys hiking, cooking, and traveling with her husband Tim and their three children.

Sheri Watts, Treasurer

As the result of my husband’s recent experience with cancer, my family & I have started paying more attention to what we are eating, attempting to eat a more natural, healthy diet.  C2Life Foundation is built on that foundation so it was a natural fit for me.  It also allows me to use my financial & accounting skills to help an organization that is providing so much good to our community.

Quez Little, Vice Chair/Secretary

When a stress test revealed blockages in my life long runner heart, I became curious. Curious as to how the food I was eating would make a difference. Now, over 10 years later, I thrive on a whole food plant based diet & still get to climb, run, & enjoy a full existence in my 60's & beyond. The mission of the Foundation "to end hunger & eliminate chronic disease caused by poor nutrition", resonates with the active lifestyle I know many want, but just need the support & guidance to attain. It is a joy to serve & see this mission impacting lives & helping educate, inspire, & share sustainable health.
